Spending a day hiking around on a beautiful glacier has to be one of my favourite ways to spend a day. I could write pages and pages about how amazing it was, but the photographs say more than I will ever be able to. So here they are!

Remember: When I wrote this post Iceland was still very under the radar. It has now grown into a hugely popular destination for tourists – to avoid the crowds, I recommend visiting in the winter months
